I'm Cihan Özkan, an architect and CG artist, born in 1971 in Silistra, Bulgaria. I graduated from the Department of Architecture at Trakya University in 1998 and spent more than 25 years in architectural practice, while building a parallel life in computer graphics.
Today I focus on atmospheric environments and light-driven scenes — quiet winter streets, stormy landscapes, places that feel lived in. My architectural background shapes how I build a scene: proportion, material and light come first, and the story grows from there.
In 2023 I brought my work together under Gara89 Visualization, and I now work as a freelance CG artist. I also share tutorials, develop tools for 3ds Max artists, and lead workshops in architecture and visual design.
